Seriously, though, I’ve always thought that would be an excellent Dummies title. Especially when you think how many Books on a Deserted Island lists have been created in the whole history of time ;)

I’m so glad to see so you all like this book so much. And it’s really funny – I do like certain Stephen King novels, but not all of them. Once upon a time (when I was in my teens, so I’m going to stay mum about how long ago that was, exactly), I absolutely adored horror novels. I don’t enjoy them anymore. So I only read Steve’s not-quite-so horror novels. Of which there are many.

Gotta agree with Carrie on this one. It’s also one of my favorites. Thanks to you, I’ve been re-reading it as well and making more notes as I do.

Nice summation; it really does come down to the language.
