Treasure Trove of Ideas #Bloggiesta Winners!

I posted back in my Tuesday Snapshot post that I really really hoped I wouldn’t get the stomach bug that hit the book-reading demon and my son Dylan this past weekend. Maybe that was like an invite for the bug to strike?

Because yes, I did end up with it, but in a weird sort of form. Maybe those probiotics do work, after all! What I ended up with was more “flu” and less “stomach”, which basically meant I spent the last twenty-four hours in bed, drifting in and out of sleep, my body aching, while listening to different Agatha Christie titles from my stack of comfort listens.

A bit of tummy pain that came and went, but despite some queasiness, there was NO throwing up! Yay for that. This morning my stomach feels a bit tender, but the fatigue is gone, as is the queasiness. I’m on the mend!

So this #Bloggiesta winners post is late by one day (plus I missed a day of posting). Thank you to everyone who participated in the How to create a treasure trove of blog post ideas Bloggiesta challenge!

And now for the winners!

Comfort listens are great when I’m not feeling well, because if I drift off (which I did a lot of, yesterday) I don’t miss anything, since I’ve listened/read the story before!

And now I have to wait until next Wednesday for our chat. That was one of the worse parts of being sick!

Same here! My husband and my son had all the stomach stuff, so I was really dreading it. And then it didn’t happen like that for me at all! It’s all the more reason for me to keep drinking my kefir and getting those probiotics in me :)

    Congratulations to the winners!!

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Any kind of flu can be such a pain, but stomach flu is even worse, so I’m glad you managed to escape most of that.

Hello! Hope you see this? not sure if you comment system will put this on top if on an old post?

Anyway the card arrived yesterday and I’m debating sending it or framing it. Frame or send to a friend who I know will appreciate? ah heck, I should just buy more! I have the card sitting prominently where I can see and smile at it but I’ve already lost the envelope (with a lovely card from another blogger) – I know it is here somewhere. ALSO, I have a link to email you that i know you will love. Will try to do that RIGHT NOW.

    THANKS!!!!
