J. Kaye, I’m so sorry I pushed you the wrong direction off the fence But I understand your hesitancy. I actually wasn’t aware of the exact storyline when I began reading, and I know I had a moment of “say it ain’t so” when I realized that this wasn’t going to be THAT type of Cinderella transformation story. But I love Cabot’s writing too much to let it stop me, and I have a feeling that Being Nikki will give me the relief I need.

I know the kind of story you are talking about and I love those too. I have been so hesitant to get this book. I just don't think I'll like it. I know she is a great author, but it doesn't appeal to me. Love your review though. I was sort of on the fence about this book and you really helped me decided. J.
