I think you’ll like this one, Kathy. I hate making comparisons between books (”if you liked Twilight, you’ll like “Another Vampire Book”) but I know you like Stephanie Plum, and this one reminded me a little bit of the earlier Stephanie Plum novels, only Wollie has more depth to her than Stephanie Plum. It has that same fun feel to it.

I felt the same way, Audrey – actually, I’m not sure if it was the cover, or the synopsis (which didn’t sound quite “real” to me). I had this one on hold from the library (so I’m pretty sure I must have read a review of it somewhere and thought it would be enjoyable) but when I picked it up, I wasn’t sure at all that it was the right read for me. I kind of started the first few pages on a whim, simply because the book was there, and there was just something about Wollie that was so appealing, I just kept on reading.

Because of the cover, I don’t think I ever would have given this book a second look without your review. It actually looks really good, though.
