I know, I know … you’re here looking for my rating system, right? The thing is, effective April 27, 2009, I don’t have one anymore.

After blogging here for a while, I’ve come to the realization that using a rating system just doesn’t work for me. I really dislike grading or rating a book according to a set rating scale, although the funny thing is, I do enjoy other reviewers’ rating systems.

So after a bit of thought, I’ve decided to dispense with a rating system altogether. You might have come here from an older review of mine that did feature a rating from one of the two rating systems I’ve employed here to date. Hopefully you can tell from the tone of the review what I meant by the rating.

And I hope my reviews are just as enjoyable without a rating!
