When I am on a zillion deadlines I love it. Otherwise, I don't -- because then I have a tendency to not want to leave the house, so errands and shopping do not get done. But yeah, sweats definitely have their place.

I too am shocked it took you 15 years to try this! So glad you found out how good it is! I'm glad you asked the questions ....it was very interesting to read the responses. For me somedays the lap top comes to the bedroom and I work right there...PJs on and the dog curled up right beside me!

LOL!

My PJ is too cold for this house. Warm jeans, socks and sweaters are the thing, but I don´t worry about how I look on days when I work from home.

So glad to see a post from you. I figured you were working but I was starting to wonder. Also glad you discovered a new freedom that makes you feel so good plus is more productive. During my work-for-money days I never had the luxury of working from home. It was always dress code and that usually meant dresses or suits (not pant suits until the last few years). Soft jeans (the older the better) and baggy shirts are my casual clothing choice.

Unfortunately, I work at an office and they would frown upon pjs at work. But if I worked from home, I would never get dressed. I put my pajamas on as soon as I walk in the door in the evening.

I wear sweats just in case someone comes to the door, but my slippers hardly ever leave my feet. I'm more productive if I'm comfortable, but the bad part is that it's too easy to eat too much with all that room in my pants.

I wear sleep shirts to sleep, so wouldn't quite be appropriate - but I wear sweats around the house unless I am going out somewhere!

I only work from home occasionally but when I do I often stay in my PJs - especially in winter. There's nothing better.

I once came to the office in my PJs (it was some kind of theme dress up day but I can't recall what the PJs were supposed to signify) and I adored that too.

Basically I could live in PJs

It's my goal to work in my jammies. Or better yet, not work, and stay in my jammies all day!

I'd wear PJs 24/7 if I could! And these days it's almost to the point where pajamas are completely socially acceptable casual wear for anything except maybe working in an office. I've noticed while shopping that many boutiques and even bigger department stores like Old Navy, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle has sections especially for pj-style casuals. Personally I am loving this! I wear them around the house/yard, grocery shopping, walking the dog ... haven't worn them to school yet though :P
