I love this list. I used to use Twitter as more of a conversational tool, but now that I am looking to be more professional I am trying not to ramble on and on about personal stuff. I like this. It's like a Twitter roundup!

I really don't bother to catch up with lost tweets--are you kidding? That would drive me crazy.

Oh, gosh, it's impossible to catch up (and impractical, I think!). When I first joined twitter, a friend told me that it was like a cocktail party, you overhear bits of conversation, jump in if you want, eavesdrop if you don't have anything to add, and walk away toward a more interesting topic when the mood strikes.

Thanks for the link to Meg Cabot's thoughts on the new rating system. Interesting that the group doesn't consider what they do to be censorship (sure looks that way to me!).

And thank you for linking to Susan Jane Gilman's post about Politics and Prose. I couldn't read it without tearing up.

For some odd reason, I find more interesting links when I'm on in the morning. At night Twitter is fun because it's so social and conversational but definitely not as many good links.

That's how I use Twitter too. I'd drive myself nuts if I ever tried to catch up :P And yes, following interesting people definitely makes all the difference.

These are so great! I find a lot of posts giving a blogger's personal choice of blog links, but I believe this is the first one to give good links from twitter, so it's much broader and more eclectic. Thanks for pulling all this together!
